Zintkala Ohitika (Joseph Lafferty) is a Miniconjou Lakota from the Iron Lightning Band of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Reservation in South Dakota. As Marcella Gilbert, he was 17 years old when he attended the UN 1977 Conference in Geneva as a Delegate for the We Will Remember Survival School. He was introduced to the American Indian Movement (AIM) very young and dedicated his life in teaching and preserving Lakota culture.
As part of this project, he participated in the 2015 Symposium and the 2015 South Dakota Workshop.

Zintkala Ohitika (Joseph Lafferty) es un miniconjou lakota de la banda Iron Lightning de la reserva tribal Cheyenne River Sioux, en Dakota del Sur. Como Marcella Gilbert, tenía 17 años cuando asistió a la Conferencia de la ONU de 1977 en Ginebra como delegado de la Escuela de Supervivencia We Will Remember.
