Salvador Palomino Flores es natural de Ayacucho. Se tituló como Antropólogo en la Universidad Nacional de San Cristóbal de Huamanga con la Tesis "El Sistema de Oposiciones en la Comunidad de Sarhua", 1970.

Fue docente en la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, en la Universidad de Copenhague (Dinamarca) y en la Universidad de St. Andrews (Escocia), preponderantemente con el desarrollo del tema "Lengua Quechua y Cultura Andina". Así mismo, dictó cursos de Antropología Social en la Universidad San Cristóbal de Huamanga (Ayacucho). Actualmente reside en el Reino de Dinamarca, desde donde coopera con la Comunidad de Sarhua en la reconstrucción de su Puente Colgante Inka, como forma de incentivar el turismo hacia la Comunidad y, para que no se pierda este legado cultural tan importante, casi único en el Perú.

Participó a la Conferencia de 1981 en Ginebra como Delegado del Consejo Indio de Sud América (CISA).

En el marco de este proyecto, participó en el Simposio de 2015.

Salvador Palomino Flores is a native of Ayacucho. He graduated as an Anthropologist from the National University of San Cristobal de Huamanga with the thesis "The Opposition System in the Sarhua Community", 1970.

He taught at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark) and at the University of St. Andrews (Scotland), mainly with the development of the subject "Quechua Language and Andean Culture". He also taught courses in Social Anthropology at the University of San Cristobal de Huamanga (Ayacucho). He currently resides in the Kingdom of Denmark, from where he cooperates with the Sarhua Community in the reconstruction of its Inka Suspension Bridge, as a way to encourage tourism to the Community and, so that this important cultural legacy, almost unique in Peru, is not lost.

He participated in the 1981 Conference in Geneva as a delegate of the Indian Council of South America (CISA)
